Lindsay has the perfect balance of strength and effective pressure couple with a nurturing and healing touch. With over 19 years of a dedicated licensed massage therapy practice, serving all types of clients from the athlete needing deep tissue work to the client seeking restorative relaxation, Lindsay believes that the most important outcome is the client being met where they are and focusing on their specific needs.
Lindsay is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts and built her practice in Portland and Montana through a mix of private clients as well as providing on-sight massage therapy for major sports brands and high end luxury spas and now has her own private studio in SW Portland.
In our Western based society, touch is often not an everyday part of our lives. The nurturing presence of touch helps realign our busy minds with our bodies. My goal is to help you discover and reap the nurturing benefits of massage to better care for your health, long-term.
Massage is a tool to help heal and to continue to maintain optimal health and wellbeing. Whether it's stress, illness, injury or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
While the benefits of massage are infinite, each person's expectation and intended outcome of massage, is very personal. Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. Together, we will build a treatment plan customized to focus on your specific needs.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Myofascial Release therapy is a gentle technique that targets pain arising from the facia, which are the connective tissues that weave throughout the body, separating and supporting muscles, bones, ligaments and internal organs.
Through Post Isometric Relaxation and Assisted Stretching, we can work together to release and lengthen muscles to their full capacity, improving your flexibility and range of motion.
